70 Years USAF

Big part of the show was covered with this years 70th USAF anniversary theme. Types like the F-15, F-16, C-130 and KC-135 were presented. The F-22 demo was very impressive and of course the The Thunderbirds F-16 display team. Due to the weather conditions the low show had to be flown, which was a little disappointing and not so tightly flown as were used to.

The real treat came when the B-2 made a surprise visit. (only on Sunday). The aircraft made two fly-bys accompanied by two Lakenheath F-15s, before heading back to Whiteman Air Force Base.

Although cloudy it stayed dry until the end of the day, when a small shower passed. It stopped just in time for the final demo of the Ukraine Su-27 Flanker. Like the F-22 very impressive, with thrust vectoring, good for some amazing manoeuvres.
